Citroën SurvoltInnovative ideas are often the result of combining concepts between which no convergence was originally perceived.
The concrete implementation of such ideas depends in part on using what technology offers us, but even more so on observing the world around us, and in particular nature itself.
This was the approach followed by GreenGT in the construction of its own clean and sustainable propulsion systems.
In 2010, Citroën chose GreenGT’s powertrain for its Survolt car.
With its 100% electric drive system, the Citroen Survolt combines sportiness and high performance. Powered by two electric motors with a combined power of 300 hp from 0 to 11,000 rev/min, it achieves very good performance with a maximum speed of 240 km/h.
With its limited weight of 1086 kg, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than five seconds.
Its two lithium-ion batteries of 140 kg each, with a capacity of 31 kWh, give it a driving autonomy of about 200 km. These two batteries can be recharged in just two hours, using a specially designed power source, or in ten hours using the conventional 220 Volt network.
At the service of tomorrow’s vehicles, GreenGT offers its know-how to all active players in motorized mobility by providing advice and support for the integration of innovative solutions.
