First track testing at Paul Ricard

Greengt GreenGT did its firts roll-out on June 10 at the Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track. Christian Pescatori was at the wheel to asses the car at 30% of its peak power. The GreenGT proved to be extremely reliable during the whole test completing 18 laps in one charge and 24 laps during the course of the day.The GreenGT proved to be extremely reliable during the whole test and the excellent custom made power management system provided extended battery life.

As an electric car has a very different weight distribution to a normal car because of the important battery mass and the engineers had to tune the chassis accordingly.Because electric cars produce tremendous amounts of torque, GreenGT team had to make sure their patent gearbox would withstand the enormous power it has to transfer to the rear wheels. The test was also interesting because it gave the guys over at GreenGT a notion of how long the cars battery really lasts. The last monitored test was to observe if the cars electornics and safety equipment where working correctly. We are very happy to announce the that the GreenGT passed all of its tests with no problems. The car will now return on the dyno for further testing and the next track test will be to evaluate the cars true performance figures. We will definitely keep you posted.
